James Hay (31 Oct 1860 – 12 Nov 1937) from Scotland and
Frederick Charles Budden (Jun 1855 – 23 Feb 1917) from England.
Their anvil manufacturing process revolutionized anvil production. A century later Hay Budden anvils and still sought after and used today.
